THE A378 reopened earlier this morning (June 14) after the car that hit a hotel and pub was removed from the accident site.

A car collided with the Langport Arms Hotel on Saturday, June 8, and a road closure was in place to allow its recovery.

Somerset Council shared an update this morning saying the road reopened around 8am.

A spokesperson said: “The A378 reopened just before 8am this morning after the car was removed from the accident site outside the Langport Arms Hotel. Thanks for your patience.”
