Roads Flooded in San Juan Amid Record Rainfall

People navigated flooded roads in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Friday, October 28, amid heavy rainfall that weather officials later said broke the daily maximum record in the area.

San Juan weather officials reported preliminary rainfall totals of between two to five inches in northern parts of Puerto Rico and up to six inches in the northern parts of San Juan and Guaynabo.

Several areas in the northwest, north, south and center of Puerto Rico were issued flood warnings, according to local news reports.
