Rochelle Humes' mum admission as she 'changes narrative' when asked school gate question by daughter

Rochelle Humes was left giggling at her actions as she admitted to 'changing the narrative' when being quizzed by her daughter on the school run. The This Morning star has been getting back into the swing of mum life and work following a luxurious break during the recent Easter break.

Rochelle, 35, that she and her JLS star husband Marvin - along with their three kids Alaia-Mai, 10, Valentina Raine, seven, and Blake Hampton, three - were invited to enjoy a stay at the Oaga Art Resort, which is described as an all-inclusive that is "vibrant, colourful and full of art & stories", reportedly costing up £700 per night.

They later spent a few days over in Dubai but over the weekend, it was time for the Humes' to call time on their luxury break and head home. Sharing a picture of Blake leaving their hotel, Rochelle wrote to her fans and followers: "Home time... we've milked it for long enough!"

But it's been back to school for the kids and work for the adults, however, sometimes it appears the two don't always run to plan. Taking to her Instagram Story on Friday morning (April 19), Rochelle shared a picture of her holding her middle child Valentina's hand.

Alongside the post to her 2.2 million followers, the former The Saturdays star said: "Nothing in life is for certain other than the fact I'll always be one of the last mums at the gate..."

She then followed up the post with an adorable snap of Valentina smiling at her as the pounded the pavements into the school and Rochelle said: "Valle: Mummy why do we always walk so far on the way into school? Me: It's called power walking, darling. it's SO good for us..."

Rochelle then added: "As parents, we can always change the narrative..." It comes after she shared her pride over eldest daughter Alaia-Mia after she previously teased that the youngster had been working on and had pitched her own ideas for her mum's brand My Little Coco.

Rochelle founded My Little Coco in 2020 with the product described as being "lovingly made to be the simplest and softest of formulas for your little ones' delicate skin and hair". The 35-year-old recently celebrated the fourth anniversary of the company which has been going from strength to strength if her latest updates are anything to go by.

On Wednesday evening (April 17), Rochelle revealed Alaia's own product range, named Coco Hills, will soon be released. Announcing the news alongside an LA-inspired, pink-filled promo video that was filmed during their recent visit to Dubai, the proud mum-of-three said: "COCO HILLS @mylittlecoco new baby coming to @bootsuk stores this summer developed by Alaia-Mai Humes."

She continued to explain: "A bath, body and haircare range for our little ones (that aren’t quite so little anymore), who are bursting to grow up that little bit faster and indulge in all the self-care, skin and hair products they see us adults using..

"This collection has been a real labour of love that Alaia and I have been developing for the past year to ensure all of the ingredients are super gentle, whilst still offering our little (big) ones the results they need to ‘slay all day’, in a safe way. Trust us when we say it’s a WHOLE vibe!"

She also shared a picture of Alaia to her Instagram Story in which she could be seen over a year ago with her product plan board. "Alaia about a year ago... delighted with her final line-up," Rochelle typed alongside the picture with a face holding back tears emoji. She then shared another snap of the youngster with her notebook and a Starbucks having been involved in meetings: "I can't tell you how proud I am of this little boss babe."
