Rochelle Humes was left stranded on the school run after getting a flat tyre.

The This Morning presenter was taking daughters Alaia-Mai, six and Valentina, two, to school when her tyre blew up as she drove around a roundabout, forcing her to wake up husband, fellow TV presenter Marvin Humes, on his morning off so he could to come to her rescue.

Rochelle, 30, revealed in her Instagram stories: “Not the ideal start to the day... On the school run I felt myself go over a bit of a bump on the roundabout and my tyre has just gone down to zero. Completely flat. Luckily one of my best friend’s husbands is behind me and he’s taken Alaia in for me, but Vally won’t go with anyone but me and Marv.

“So I’m waiting for someone to come here and change my tyre. Called Marvin, he’s now up. Bless him he was having a lay in. Worst start to the day ever.”

She then shared a clip of former JLS star Marvin pretending to be a breakdown recovery driver. He quipped: “Hello love, it’s your local RAC technician. Understand you’ve completely blown your tyre. What did you go over? It’s completely blown!”

Rochelle laughed: “Don’t be mean to me or I could cry. I’m already angry at myself.”

She later revealed she had left 34-year-old Marvin with the car to wait for an actual breakdown specialist to tow the car to a safe place before changing the tyre.

The former Saturdays-singer-turned-TV-presenter admitted she was hoping not to see anyone on the school run as she was wearing a tracksuit and had not styled her hair.

She said: “I had one of those days today where I thought I don’t want to see anyone on the school run because I’ve got loads of coconut oil in my hair, I was in my trakkie, I’ve got so much to do today.”
