Rock Shaped Like Human Heart Found on Oregon Beach
A heart of stone is usually seen as a bad thing, but Oregon man Matt Ransom was delighted to share images of a red rock he found that was uncannily like an actual human heart in terms of size, shape, and even color.
Local rock-hunter Ransom told KOIN 6 News that he discovered the rock at Short Beach, near Oceanside, on March 29.
Writing on his @trailhead503 Instagram, he called it the “juiciest carnelian I’ve ever found.” Carnelian is a brownish-red mineral commonly used as a semiprecious stone, according to Wikipedia. Credit: @trailhead503 via Storyful
