Romelu Lukaku pictured back in Chelsea training after ankle injury
Romelu Lukaku is back in training with Chelsea.
The Belgian striker has missed the last three Premier League games after suffering an ankle injury during the Champions League win over Malmo earlier this month.
While, in his absence, Thomas Tuchel’s side have managed to score eleven times in three Premier League outings, their lack of a goalscorer did play a factor in their draw at home to Burnley before the international break, with the league-leaders missing a number of chances before conceding a late equaliser.
On Monday afternoon, the club posted a photo of Lukaku back out on the training pitch.
Returning to the club earlier this summer, the 28-year-old has scored four times in ten games and his return to the side, even if not necessarily fit to start right away, is a major boost to a team already three points clear as things stand.
