Good news – we finally know when the Roseanne revival will hit TV screens.

The comedy series is returning for a brand new run of nine episodes, which will begin on March 27, 2018 on ABC. That's a little over three months away.

Even better, the season premiere will be an hour-long instalment.

Roseanne Barr is set to return to her title role for the revival, and will be joined by original cast members John Goodman (Dan), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (DJ), Sara Gilbert (Darlene) and Lecy Goranson (Becky).

The new season will ignore the events of the season nine finale, in which it was revealed Goodman's character Dan dies of a heart attack.

Also, David has ended up marrying Darlene, who he had previously been with for years. The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki recently confirmed his return to the series as David on Instagram earlier this month.

"21 YEARS LATER...! Apart from being born, possibly the most surreal experience of my life," he wrote.

"Deep thanks to my Big Bang Theory family for knowing the importance of visiting one's roots and loaning me out for a quick minute. Much [love]."

During its nine years on the air, Roseanne won three Golden Globes and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, and set the standard for many dysfunctional family sitcoms that followed in the '90s.
