Congratulations are in order for RuPaul's Drag Race winner Yvie Oddly, who has confirmed she has married partner Doug Illsley.

The star, who won the eleventh season of the reality series and returned for last year's All Stars: All Winners season, revealed the happy news in a new Instagram post.

Sharing a series of pictures and clips from the big day, Yvie said she was "so happy to be his hersband".

"Last week I got married to some guy I met on grindr…," she captioned the post. "Now, I have A LOT of strong opinions about the institution of marriage but you can hear all about those on my Strange Love tour… For now I’ll just say that I love @dougyills and I’m so happy to be his hersband".

Doug wrote in the comments: "Love u 4ever, even when you make us almost late to our own courthouse wedding," Yvie quipping in response: "I needed. To paint. MY NAILS!!!".

Yvie has received a host of congratulations in the comments, with fellow Drag Race star Brooke Lynn Hytes writing: "Awwwwwwwweeeee" and "Congratulations!!!".

Jinkx Monsoon shared a series of red heart and clapping emojis, while Shea Couleé added: "Congrats Yvie!!!".

Meanwhile, last year Yvie spoke out against the edits for her All Stars season, expressing a wish that fans "could've seen even a quarter of the REAL journey we experienced together".

"TBH my experience was pretty gruesome from the start. And while you can be assured that 'none of that will make the edit', it doesn't change anything in the moment," she said. "Going back I learned a lot about myself, as I was forced to question whether or not I fit into this specific world (even as a winner).

"But instead of showing ANY of that struggle (or really any reason for me to be there), I've been lobotomized and presented as some goofy big-dicked mascot, bravely laughing through my chronic illness, happy to be along for the ride."

Yvie added: "The only part of my truth that was shown was how the girls were my rock in this competition, and how happy it's made me to share any more of my art with you… so for that I'm truly thankful."

RuPaul's Drag Race US airs on MTV in the US and WOW Presents Plus in the UK.
