Russell Brand urges Katie Price to force Kieran Hayler to get sex addiction therapy: ‘He needs to go’

Russell Brand has urged Katie Price to force her husband Kieran Hayler into therapy to deal with his sex addiction.

Price sought Brand’s advice after revealing Hayler has rejected her pleas to seek help after he was recently accused of cheating on her again.

Brand told her to be firm otherwise he will continue to “surrender” to his addiction.

Speaking on Loose Women, Brand said: “You say to Kieran, you've got to 100 per cent surrender, you've got to 100 per cent accept help and you no longer have the right to be in control of this situation after the way you've treated me and the way you've behaved.

“So you want to get yourself away, turn your life around and start making some changes. He needs to go.”

Price asked him whether a one off stay in a rehabilitation centre would be enough, to which Brand replied: “You’ve got to continually be tuned in. With an addict they’ll always return to that behaviour unless they continually make choices to move away from it.

“That’s what a habit is. If he’s not working towards his recovery then he’s working towards his addiction. Get him away.”

Price recently revealed that she is splitting from Hayler after claiming she found e-mails confirming he had a 12 month affair with nanny Nikki Brown. Brown has vehemently denied the allegations.

Hayler, who Price has son Jett Riviera and daughter Bunny with, had a 10 month affair with Price’s former best friend, Jane Pountney in 2014.

It was later revealed that he had also slept with another of her friends, Chrissy Thomas.

Loose Women is on ITV weekdays at 12:30pm
