Loose Woman presenter Ruth Langsford has issued an "apology" to her followers after revealing a bouquet of flowers from an anonymous sender.

The 64 year-old TV star took to Instagram on Sunday (June 23) to share the sight of the beautiful floral arrangement. The collection of differently coloured peonies, purchased from Arena Flowers, definitely pleased the fans, reports the Express.

A petite card was nestled amidst the bouquet, its sender's identity concealed by Ruth who playfully captioned it: "Sorry to bang on...but look at them today!"

This comes not even a month since she declared her separation from Eamonn Holmes, also aged 64, after being married for about 14 years. A representative stated that the couple have "confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing".

On the same day when Ruth was marvelling at her new gift, Eamonn too chose social media to announce some major changes occurring at GB News. Sitting at his work desk, he narrated: "Here we are, it is Sunday and I am in work.

"But you may think, 'He is not at work, this is different, there is something different about this', we have had a set redesign. It is quite similar but very different for us."

Adding further detail, the broadcaster noted: "It is very different in terms of lighting, very different in terms of the height of the desk, the curvature of the desk. It used to be straight and now it's quite curvy.

"And I am going to sit on a different side of the table," he continued, indicating his and Isabel's new seating arrangement. "Hopefully the programme will be as good as ever and we win a TRIC Award on Tuesday to prove it."

Eamonn concluded his message with: "Anyway this is the new look, give me a wee text, give me your view of what you think, do you like it? I hope you do, see you in the morning, 6am until 9.30am."

Isabel, Eamonn's co-presenter, also took to Instagram stories to express her excitement about the revamped studio, simply stating: "Come and check out our shiny new set."

Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel finds itself in the running for a TRIC Award, competing against other popular programmes such as Good Morning Britain, BBC Breakfast, and BBC News at Six.
