It's no secret that Big Brother's Rylan Clark-Neal built his very own Diary Room into his home, so of course it didn't take long for Sunday Brunch hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer to quiz the presenter about it on today's show.

As the programme kicked off this morning (January 20), Tim and Simon quickly asked Rylan every thought we've all had about his Diary Room room – which mainly comes down to 'who do you talk to?', if we're honest.

Luckily, Rylan was happy to provide the answers.

"Alexa," he confirmed, before adding: "Other home assistants are available."

Explaining a bit more about how it all works, he said: "It’s all fully automatic, so you press the Diary Room door button, the door slides open, I’ve got my Diary Room chair from when I won."

Rylan took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, immediately after his 2012 The X Factor stint, before returning to the show as the presenter of Bit on the Side later.

Both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother were cancelled by Channel 5 last year and Rylan has been vocal about wanting the show to return, but in the meantime he's opened up about the fact that no more Big Brother means that his version of the Diary Room is the last one standing.

"What’s sad, I’ve got the only Diary Room in the country now, because there’s no more Big Brother," he added. "So I’ve took a – I was gonna say 'a little bit home with me' but actually I stole everything.

"I purpose built it. I have nothing to do in real life," he joked. "This is my life now."

Rylan isn't alone in missing Big Brother though, as main show host Emma Willis recently reflected on how weird it is to have a January without the show, calling it a "funny old month".

"January has been weird if I'm being honest," she said. "When Big Brother finished, everybody was really sad. But I think all of us thought it would be nice to have a bit of time in January and not have New Year happen and suddenly you are back into it.

"But if I am honest I have really missed it," she continued. "It's been a funny old month."

Sunday Brunch airs on Channel 4.
