Sadiq Khan: Ramadan 2020 will be 'weird'

The Mayor of London has said that Ramadan 2020 "is going to be very weird for those of us who practice Islam". Sadiq Khan's message to London's Muslims was to "fast from home, open your fast (iftar) from home, pray at home, and that's the best way to keep fellow citizens safe". Christian, Jewish and Sikh holidays have also been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak during April. Ramadan 2020 begins on Thursday 23rd April and ends on Saturday 23rd May.
