Sam Gowland has denied being axed from Geordie Shore.

The former Love Island star, who appeared in the third series of the ITV2 dating show, took to Twitter on Saturday (June 22) to deny reports he's been booted off Geordie Shore after a row with Chloe Ferry.

"Darlings, sorry to inform you but your source again is wrong," he said.

"I have not been axed, I asked to leave to sort one of my houses out and then to fly to Spain to do a PA, I will be back filming on Saturday."

What's less clear though is the relationship status of Sam and his on/off girlfriend and Geordie Shore co-star Chloe Ferry.

The pair had previously called it quits, with Chloe herself seemingly confirming she had left the show soon after.

Nonetheless, the couple recently seemed to reconcile, if only briefly – and Chloe has now rejoined the Geordie Shore cast and is filming the next series.
