Samsung issues 'four month' warning to millions of Galaxy phone owners

Samsung has handed out free YouTube Premium memberships to phone owners but there are three other freebies you might have missed. Samsung is offering up to four months of ad-free YouTube to customers if they own a Galaxy S23 series phone.

Samsung Galaxy S23 or S23+ owners can access YouTube and YouTube Music ad-free for up to four months. With the YouTube Premium service normally costing $13.99 a month, you will save $55.96, Samsung says.

"Enjoy YouTube Premium on us," Samsung said. "Enjoy YouTube without ads and when you're offline. Play content with your screen off or while using another app. Access to YouTube Music Premium. The music streaming app. Made by YouTube."

" Open the YouTube app on your Samsung Galaxy device. Go to your account / profile and log in or create an account. Tap GET YOUTUBE PREMIUM. Select TRY IT FREE, complete sign up, and start streaming," the tech giant has gone on to say.

The o ffer only available to users who are not currently YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium subscribers, have not been YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red, or Google Play Music subscribers nor participated in a YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, Google Play Music, or YouTube Red trail before.

Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, Tab S8 Ultra are eligible for the 4 month trial offer. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra are eligible for the 4 month trial offer. All 2022 devices branded A, M, and Tab A launching during the promotional period are eligible for the 2 month trial offer.
