Satellite Shows Severe Storms Erupting in Southeast US

Satellite images show the “classic mid-latitude cyclone” that brought severe thunderstorms to the southeastern United States on Monday, March 25.

Images taken by a Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) satellite show strong storms “erupting along the frontal boundary” in the southeastern US on Monday.
