Verdict: Five stars

P!NK certainly got the party started last night at Hampden.

The American singer-songwriter kicked off her first of two shows in Glasgow as part of her Summer Carnival tour - which will see her perform all over the world.

She made a dramatic entrance from inside a pair of giant lips at the top of the stage and bungee jumped whilst bursting into Get the Party Started.

(Image: Calum Buchan) She rocked several outfits throughout the show including a sparkly bodysuit and boots, a sparkly denim jacket and a black leather jacket with lips on the shoulders.

Despite the jackets, the 44-year-old, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, was feeling the cold. At one point she revealed she couldn't feel her hands and later said: "Thanks for coming to freeze with me. Who brought the weather?"

The stage was brought to life for the circus-themed show by her dancers, musicians and props.

It was lit up with neon lights and was filled with massive neon props including creatures, flamingos and a sparkly disco ball.

P!NK entertained the Friday night crowd with several hits including Raise Your Glass, Who Knew, Just Like a Pill, What About Us, Just Give Me a Reason, F**kin' Perfect, Just Like Fire, Please Don't Leave Me, TRUSTFALL, Blow Me (One Last Kiss), and Never Gonna Not Dance Again.

P!NK revealed to the crowd she was arrested at age 13 for singing "this song too loud out of a window" before she burst into a cover of 4 Non Blondes' What’s Up.

The musician also sat down at the piano to show off her impressive vocals by performing a version of Make You Feel My Love by Adele.

She interacted well with her fans throughout the dazzling show. She signed a baseball cap that was thrown at her, got off the stage and up to the barrier to autograph a birthday sign, and spoke about her beloved late dad who passed away in August 2021.

As fans know, P!NK is renowned for her impressive acrobatics. And during last night's finale song, she was somersaulting and spinning across Hampden whilst belting out So What?

A display of fireworks lit up the sky whilst confetti was shot over the fans - who were left in awe of the talented singer.

And P!NK wasn't the only one who left fans amazed.

We reported last night that Danny O'Donoghue, frontman of support act The Script, photobombed fans outside the stadium.

The unexpected occasion was caught by our photographer Colin Mearns - and Danny spoke about the moment of madness during the band's performance as they warmed the fans up before P!NK.

Danny told the crowd: "Before we came on, there was a group of people outside getting their pictures taken by paparazzi (Colin). And they were just doing this little thing so I just snuck up behind them and I photobombed the s**t out of them.

"Straight away, I was like 'I'm off the drink right now'. But if I wasn't, Buckfast gets you f***ed fast, am I right?

"He's gonna be somewhere here. I'll guarantee he's gonna be kicked out in a while, but I want to say thanks so much for that."
