Severe Storms Threaten Southern Pennsylvania

Severe thunderstorms packing high wind gusts and hail potential threatened southern Pennsylvania on Friday, May 20, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Footage posted by Elan Azriel shows a storm squall passing him in York on Friday afternoon, he said, as the NWS warned the area of up to quarter-sized hail.

A tornado watch was in effect for for parts of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia until 7 pm on Friday, per the NWS. Credit: Elan Azriel via Storyful
