Sex And The City stars fuel comeback rumours with mini-reunion
Every few months, word of a Sex And The City comeback appears to hit the headlines, with Sarah Jessica Parker – who played Carrie Bradshaw in the show – adding fuel to the fire just last month when she admitted that she was willing to create a third film.
Now fans of the show have gone into meltdown after there was a mini-Sex And The City cast reunion last night at the launch of Sarah’s new show, ‘Divorce’.
Supported by Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda Hobbes, and Mario Cantone, who played Anthony Marentino, Sarah was beaming as she posed for pictures with her former castmates, and Kristin Davis, who starred as Charlotte York, was also quick to take to social media to explain her absence.
Sharing a throwback photo of herself and Sarah, Kristin wrote: “Tonight I am missing the premiere of Divorce. So sad not to be with my sister @sarahjessicaparker to celebrate her new show for @hbo .
“Sending love from a cold + rainy set in Vancouver.”
Kristin’s post excited SATC fans, with her followers commenting: “The fact that you both love each other makes all of us hard core SATC fans crazy, insane happy. Love you both! Forever.
“So happy to see you all still posting pics together! I love love love each of you!
“Omfg i love this friendship!! Queens”.
Sarah previously teased fans by admitting that a new SATC film or series is “always a possibility”, sharing: “I don’t think any of us have said no.
“I don’t know whether it’s a series or the movie. I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it’s been resolved.”
The show, which also starred Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones, aired for six seasons between 1998 to 2004, with two movies following in 2008 and 2010.
