Sharon Osbourne's emotional reason for short Celebrity Big Brother stint
Sharon Osbourne is struggling to be away from Ozzy during Celebrity Big Brother stint
Sharon Osbourne has revealed the special reason she is only starring in Celebrity Big Brother for one week.
The reality star is the first ever celebrity lodger on the series, meaning she will only be on the show for a specific amount of time. She led the star-studded line-up including her long-time friend Louis Walsh, former This Morning presenter Fern Britton and even Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith.
There had been rumours that TV bosses couldn't meet Osbourne's demands for cash and it was reported for her five-day stay she would be paid £100,000 a day. Usually stars commit to spending up to three weeks in the Celebrity Big Brother house if they reach the final, unless they are evicted in that time.
Showing off her cheeky humour, Osbourne had said she was in Celebrity Big Brother to have a good time - not a long time. In the launch episode, she said: "I am here for a good time, not a long time, but a good time!"
Additionally, there has already been some controversy over Osbourne having her own bedroom. In the history of the reality show the stars sleep in the same bedroom which is filled with enough double beds for all of the celebrities.
So why is Osbourne only doing one week on the show?

Now Osbourne has set the record straight as she revealed the real reason she is only doing one week. The Celebrity Big Brother lodger said she doesn't want to be apart from her husband Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2003.
Osbourne told The Sun: "I don’t want to stay away from Ozzy for too long. We’re so close as a family. I don’t think I have ever gone a week without talking to any of them, ever.
"Through fights, feuds, everything. We still talk and this will definitely be the longest. I don’t know how I’m going to cope.”
What has Sharon Osbourne said about missing Ozzy?
Osbourne found it difficult leaving her husband because he was complaining about missing her on their last phone call before she headed into the Celebrity Big Brother house. "He already started to complain," she said of saying goodbye to her husband. "I had my last phone call with him on the way here and he was miserable."
The Celebrity Big Brother star had also confided in Marisha Wallace about how her husband is doing with his health struggles. She said: "He is doing ok, it's hard for him but he's doing ok."
It's all change for the couple as they plan to make the move to the UK in April. They fell in love in Los Angeles but now the pair will return to the UK. The couple will always continue to visit Los Angeles because their children live out there.
She said: "I'm going to be here from April, my hubby is coming over and we'll still go back over there because our kids are still there but we'll have this as our base." She went on: “I miss it here, very very much."
In November last year, Osbourne detailed the "nightmare" of her husband's health struggles on Good Morning Britain and its impact on them as a couple. As well as Parkinson's, Ozzy had major spinal surgery in 2022.
Speaking about her husband's health, Osbourne said: "Nightmare. It has been five years of nightmares. Operations. Just I do not know how he has stood for it."
