Recent photos of Sir Lenny Henry shocked fans after some deemed him unrecognisable after dramatic weight loss.
The comedian appears a much slimmer version of his larger than life self as he appeared at a screening earlier this week, prompting people on Twitter to note his drastic weight loss and change in appearance.
The 59-year-old was taking time out to attend The Jungle on World Refugee Day at the Playhouse Theatre on Wednesday.
The story tells the fictional account of refugees at what was known as the ‘Calais Jungle’ that was in place from early January 2015 until October of 2016.
The previous evening, he was at the Unsung Heroines: The Lost World of Female Composers screening event in Soho, where he was also spotted.
Henry married comedienne Dawn French in 1984 bit the pair announced their split in 2010 after over 25 years together.
After his lengthy services to charity and having been a telly icon for decades, he was awarded a CBE in the 1999 New Year Honours.
In 2015, he was knighted for said contributions to comedy and charity, and was presented with the Special Award BAFTA is 2016.
