One Super Six player came so close to winning Jeff Stelling’s £1m giveaway, but with all six predicted scores correct going into stoppage time, agony was soon on the horizon - without all the action far from over, at the DW Stadium as Wigan hosted Nottingham Forest.

The Latics were leading 2-1 at home to Forest in the Championship, and had it stayed that way then one individual would have taken £1m home for themselves.

Forest then went forward in search of an equaliser, and when Matty Cash was brought down in the box, referee Geoff Eltringham was quick to point to the spot.

With nerves building somewhere down the country for one individual, Lewis Grabban stepped up for Forest and attempted a deft paneka down the middle. Christian Walton saved the spot-kick, but Hillal Soudani pounced on the rebound to break Wigan hearts.
