Will Smith narrated his trip to the zoo because he is 'freaking awesome'

Will Smith has proved why he’s “freaking awesome” after he narrated his trip to the zoo.

The Fresh Prince actor headed down under for a VIP tour of Sydney’s Featherdale Wildlife Park where he welcomed a new addition to his family.

Smith, 49, upped his Instagram game as he documented his close encounter with a crocodile at feeding time.

“Welcome to the Will Smith’s first episode of when dumb people get bit,” he said. “We’re about to feed this crocodile.”

The actor lowered a piece of meat with a pole into the reptiles mouth before it snapped up the dinner. Speaking to the camera Smith said: “I’m cool that wasn’t nothing.”

He then told everyone to be quiet as he cradled a wombat, telling fans the marsupial was a new sibling for his children Jaden and Willow.

He said: “I need y’all to be quiet. This is our new baby, Trey.

“There’s Jaden and Willow – and now we got a wombat.”

Smith captioned the video: “Jada and I are welcoming a new member to our family. Hey Jaden @c.syresmith, he’s taking your room.”

Fans praised the actor, hailing his account the best one to follow, while others begged him to “adopt them”.

One user posted: “I have watched this video no less than 50 Times and I’m just..... where has he been all of my social media life?”

Another wrote: “Omg too funny....I love Will.... he really takes me back to my childhood when I used to watch him on Fresh Prince.”

Smith is in Australia to promote his latest film, Bright, in which he plays LAPD officer Daryl Ward alongside Joel Edgerton as Nick Jakoby, the nation’s first Orcish police officer.

The actor is relatively new to Instagram having joined back in December during an appearance on the Ellen Show where he learned how to take a “duck face” selfie.
