Smoke From California's Post Fire Rises Over Pyramid Lake

A growing wildfire in north Los Angeles County was heading towards Pyramid Lake on Sunday, June 16, officials said, with video showing smoke filling the sky in that area.

The blaze, called the Post Fire, was reported just before 2 pm on Saturday, and had burned over 14,000 acres by Sunday night, with 2 percent containment.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department issued evacuation orders for “areas west of Interstate 5 between Pyramid Lake and Gorman, including the Hungry Valley State Vehicular Recreation Area.” Credit: @CaLandBird via Storyful
