A Sneak Peek of the ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 4 Wardrobe Is Here and It’s as Over-the-Top as Ever

Emily's winter wardrobe seems to be the standout this season — fur coats, ski goggles and all

A first look at Emily in Paris season 4 — and all its wild outfits — has arrived.

In the popular Netflix series, Lily Collins plays Emily Cooper, an American whose marketing job took her to Paris. Over the last three seasons, her chipper attitude and outrageous fashion have made quite the impression on her new colleagues and friends — and viewers at home.

There’s no question that fans of the show look forward to the title character’s fashion choices as much as her romantic entanglements. On Wednesday, June 5, Netflix released a first look at the highly anticipated fourth season, in which it appears Emily will be enjoying wintertime and all the fabulous fashion opportunities that come with it.

"@Emilyinparis dropping looks!!" Collins, 35, shared on Instagram. "It's my pleasure to FINALLY share a first look at season four. With every new season comes new fashion choices, and Emily's winter wardrobe will not disappoint. Hope these get you as excited for August 15th as I am..."

In photos released by the streamer, fans get a look at Emily in a myriad of seasonal ensembles. One shot shows the character pulling a blue suitcase, wearing an oversized beige teddy bear coat and sailor cap. In another image, Emily wears a brown fur coat, matching fur hat and large sunglasses (perhaps hinting that a ski getaway is in store?).

Fans also get a look at the rest of the cast's wardrobe. One moment shows Emily and her best friend Mindy (played by Ashley Park) in coordinating colorful getups; Emily wears a yellow leather jacket (and dramatic tasseled purse) while Mindy wears a structured peplum-style minidress.

The first half of Emily in Paris season 4 will premiere on August 15, followed by the second half on September 12 and will pick up following the "dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding" as "Emily is reeling."

"She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed," the official synopsis reads.

In a video announcing the premiere dates for season 4, the cast shared how they would describe it in just three words.

Collins said "vulnerable" and "adventurous," Camille Razat (Camille), said, "messy," and Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), said "chaotic" and "heartbreaking."

Because filming was still ongoing at that point, Park, 32, joked that her three words to describe the season are "not finished yet," while William Abadie (Antoine) said "amor" and Samuel Arnold (Julian), said "fashionable."

Ahead of the season 3 premiere, the show's lead costume designer Marylin Fitoussi shared that she had an "even greater freedom" with Emily's looks.

"We have listed 14,000 pieces," she told PEOPLE in December 2022. "I think that on Lily [Collins] we did about 43 looks."

She continued, "So, we always have to present new things, to push the limits of what we can do."
