Solar eclipse glasses are flying off the shelves. However, you may still be able to buy them at one unexpected place: McDonald's.

McDonald's locations in Oregon are on NASA and the American Astronomical Society's list of certified retailers of eclipse glasses, which allow you to safely watch the solar eclipse on August 21.

Some Oregon chambers of commerce are instructing people to visit the fast-food chain and get their glasses there, as other retailers run out.

"We've SOLD OUT of Eclipse Glasses!" The Pendleton, Oregon Chamber of Commerce wrote on its Facebook page earlier in August. "We've confirmed that you can find them at Bi-Mart, Dg Gifts, McDonald's, and Walmart Pendleton."

Some McDonald's locations outside of Oregon — including Missouri and Washington — are also selling eclipse glasses. However, these locations are not certified by NASA and the American Astronomical Society.
