South Belfast crash sees young female riding scooter taken to hospital after two-vehicle collision

Police have issued an appeal for information after a young female who was riding a scooter was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in South Belfast.

The collision is reported to have happened in the Lavinia Mews area on Wednesday, June 26.

PSNI Sergeant Rooney said: “At around 8pm, it was reported that a white Toyota Corolla car and a scooter were involved in the incident.

"A young female, who was riding the scooter, was taken to hospital for her injuries.

“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information or dashcam footage from the incident, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1786 27/06/24."
