What did you miss?
Spencer Matthews has revealed he is making a world record attempt to run the most consecutive marathons on sand, explaining what drives him to take on extreme challenges.
The former Made In Chelsea star told Lorraine that he liked to see how far he can push himself after overcoming addiction issues.
He also spoke about leaving his wife Vogue Williams and their two children at home while he heads to Jordan to take on the desert challenge, as well as sharing some style tips alongside Vogue.
What, how, and why?
Spencer Matthews has made no secret of his past battle with alcohol, recently sharing that he "could've died" when his alcohol use was at its peak during his city trader days.
Now, the dad-of-two's lifestyle couldn't look more different as he is set to take on his latest sporting challenge, a world record bid to run the most consecutive marathons on sand which will see him aim to finish 30 desert marathons in 30 days.
The reality TV star acknowledged how much his life has changed and how his past struggles have helped to push him on to achieve more as he told Lorraine on Tuesday: "You know, it's not too long ago that doing any running of any kind would have been difficult. You know I've struggled with problems with alcohol in my life.
"I'm keen to push myself, test myself, but also draw attention to the fact that I think anyone can do interesting things if they set their mind to it."
Matthews has recently been seen on BBC trek Pilgrimage: The Road Through North Wales made a documentary about an Everest trek where he wanted to trace his late brother's final days, and has also completed a number of ultramarathons before, which he called "a love hate thing".
He added: "(The temperature is) going to be in the mid-40s. It has to be 100% on sand. If my feet leave thesand at any point, that marathon for that day is then void and for it to be a world record, the 30 have to be consecutive."
While taking on the 1,266km challenge he will be spending time away from Vogue and their young children, so he said it involved mental preparation, too.
"It’s the time away from family as well," he said. "I honestly feel like I learn an awful lot about myself when I do these sorts of things. I'm interested in understanding how far I can push myself."
What else happened on Lorraine?
Matthews' wife Vogue Williams also joined him in the Lorraine studio, where they shared style tips including how to wear your partner's oversized shirt.
Williams said: "Spenny actually helped me with my outfit today because he allowed me to borrow his shirt. This is Spenny’s shirt."
Talking about double denim, Matthews added: "I think we’re into it… I wouldn’t take my word by the way with fashion but I’ve actually always liked the double denim. I’m a big fan."
Lorraine airs on ITV1 at 9am on weekdays.
