Celtic remain the top of the Scottish Premier League

They won 3-1 at Kilmarnock.

Scott Brown put Neil Lennon's side ahead midway through the first half after he found space in the penalty area to latch onto a cross from Adam Matthews before slotting the ball past the keeper.

After the break, the 27-year-old added an assist to his name; Joe Ledley getting on the end of his cross to double the visitor's lead.

Georgios Samaras then put the result beyond doubt when he got Celtic's third, heading home a cross from Adam Matthews.

There was time, however, for Kilmarnock to claim a late consolation goal, as Cillian Sheridan fired into the back of the net from close range.

The result secured Celtic's sixth league away win from nine games on the road this season.
