Stacey Solomon emotional as she gushes over oldest son Zachary's huge milestone in sweet family snaps

Stacey Solomon has taken to social media with a gushing post over her eldest son, as she told her fans that she doesn't think she's 'ever felt' such strong emotions over his huge milestone.

The Loose Women star, 34, welcomed first son Zachary at the tender age of 17, just a few years before she made her memorable stint on the X Factor in 2009 which propelled her into the world of fame. She is now a doting mum-of-five, alongside husband Joe Swash.

Sharing adorable family snaps on her Instagram page, Stacey gushed over son Zach who was dressed to the nines as he headed to his prom. The DIY star had pulled out all the stops to celebrate, with golden balloons spelling out 'PROM' in their Essex home.

Stacey and husband Joe stay in what they have dubbed their 'Pickle Cottage' where they live with their kids. The couple welcomed their most recent sprog and second daughter Belle in February last year.

The television star is also mum to her teenage son Leighton and Joe shares a teenage son Harry with a former partner. Stacey gushed in her social media post of how she feels like she and Zach have 'grown together' as she waved him off to prom as he left secondary school for the last time.

Alongside a clip of hanging the balloons outside their gorgeous pool house, Stacey wrote to her 5.9 million followers: "Today has been a very emotional day. Honestly, I don't know where the years have gone. School is over and it's Zachary's prom [crying emoji]."

Stacey also shared a string of photos of her beaming with pride alongside her 16-year-old son before he headed off to celebrate. The teen looked dapper in a light blue three-piece suit, paring it with a modern pair of Nike Dunks.

Stacey looked gorgeous in a floral midi dress, with her hair styled in a classy up do. Joe also joined them for a number of smiling snaps with other family members and friends. Alongside the post, the emotional mum wrote: "My baby just went to prom [crying emoji]. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this way. My Zachary, has finished his GCSEs, left school, started his first job and is off to his prom."

She continued: "Zach you are the best thing that ever happened to me. We’ve grown up together. I just can not believe how that time has flown by. Go and have the best night ever. You deserve it my darling. I’ll be on stand by for the after party pick up. To the moon and back Zachary."

Stacey also teased the post to her Instagram Story and added: "I'm sorry but how handsome," alongside a string of varying crying and tearful emojis. "I'm so proud of you Zach. I love you so much. I can't believe this is it. School done. Now time to find out who you are. To the moon and back..." she added with a white love heart.
