She expressed her delight with the outcome, commenting: "The Kitchen Is now black. I just went for it! It is the f*** it year after all. So here she is. Let me know what you think! Or don't if you hate it. I actually didn't realise how much cosier and just all round prettier painting it black would be. I was worried it might be harsh and dark but it feels so much more homely and actually feels brighter! I loved the white but omg this is special! So glad I just went for it! Happy Saturday Everyone.", reports the Mirror.

Stacey Solomon received an outpouring of support and praise from her celebrity colleagues, among them Amanda Holden who simply remarked: "Stun". Sally Carman, best known as Abi Webster on Coronation Street, also acclaimed the starlet, stating: "Gorgeous."

Strictly Come Dancing celebrity Zara McDermott chimed in with a loving: "I looooove it! ! ! ! ! Your room is so light that the black works and warms it up".

In anticipation for her new show 'Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue' on Channel 4, the mother of five divulged her upcoming home improvement plans in Sussex. Regarding her fondness for crafting and home sprucing, she stated, during her conversation with Channel 4: "I don't think I'll ever be done DIYing... Although don't tell Joe that. It's almost therapeutic for me. Growing up, my parents taught us how to do DIY and that was a real privilege, so I want my kids to have the same. I'd love to see some basic DIY skills introduced in school curriculums actually! ".

On advising others about grappling with DIY projects at home, she further stated: "Don't give up. I think people assume they're not good at something, but anyone can learn new building skills with some practice. That's how tradespeople get good! They're not born with it, you don't come out of the womb with a bloomin' spirit level, do you?"
