Strange 'UFO' spotted still in Glasgow sky before 'vanishing'

A strange-looking object which resembles a 'UFO' has been spotted hovering in the sky above Glasgow.

The 'UFO' then vanished after the photographer snapped the image of the black object floating in the sky on May 29, sharing the snap on social media.

The object can be seen above but it is difficult to tell exactly what it is, reports Glasgow Live.

A zoomed-in image doesn't clarify the mystery, but the 'saucer' appears shaped like a hexagon.

The person who spotted the 'craft' said: "It sat for a short while stationary then all of a sudden it started to move backwards in a straight line, quickly but not super fast then it just vanished.

"Very odd! I’ve never seen anything like it. I was with my son who watched it too."

Another social media was quick to say that they spotted something similar.

They wrote: "I saw the same thing above the Cormore Dam in Neilston 4 years ago.

"It floated over to the tree line above Harelaw Loch until it wasn't visible. Wish I had my telescope on me for a closer look."
