Stranger Things cast members reveal when they want Netflix show to end

The cast of Stranger Things have revealed when they want the series to end.

With just weeks to go until the Netflix show returns for a third season, three cast members – Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Noach Schnapp – have inadvertently confirmed that they could be returning for more episodes in the future.

They were speaking about the backlash to Game of Thrones’s final season with Entertainment Tonight when Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, said: “This may not be our last season. We don’t know.”

He added that he feels the show needs a maximum of two more seasons.

“I think we definitely need one more to like tie it all up,” Wolfhard said. ”Either one or two more. At least one more to tie it up.”

Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, added: ”I think we should stop whenever the story feels like it needs to be completed. If there’s no more story, there’s no more story."

The show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have described the new season as both “unapologetically fun” and “horrifying”.

They also recently revealed the list of films that inspired the new season, which will be available to stream on Netflix from 4 July.
