The Strictly Come Dancing 2024 line-up rumour mill has been sent into overdrive this week, with a Little Mix star now coming into the frame, after her own admission that she'd be keen to do the show. But the person bookies now believe is a 'dead cert' to be in the new series is Eurovision 2023 host Hannah Waddingham.

This week marks 20 years since Strictly made its debut on the BBC, with its first run in the summer of 2004 being won by newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, together with popular pro dancer Brendan Cole. After series one proved to be a real ratings winner for the BBC, a second aired before the end of the same year, with Jill Halfpenny emerging victorious.

The ever growing list of Strictly champions now also includes the likes of Louis Smith, Abbey Clancy, Darren Gough, Harry Judd, Kelvin Fletcher and 2023 winner Ellie Leach. And with the dusts now fully settled on her triumph with pro partner Vito Coppola, talk has now turned to who might followed in her footsteps this year.

The Ted Lasso star, who hosted the 2024 Oliviers after being a big hit at Eurovision last year, is now 4/7 to be on the dancefloor in just a few months time.

Not far behind her is Little Mix member turned solo sensation Perrie Edwards, after she told Jonathan Ross in an interview on his ITV show, that she'd love to sign up. The South Shields singer is now a 2/1 tip, with Roman Kemp. fresh from leaving his job as Capital Radio breakfast presenter Evens and Loose Women's Sophie Morgan, who was linked to Strictly 2023 on 11/10.

After the huge success of the Wham Netflix documentary, George Michael's former bandmate Andrew Ridgeley is a 7/4 punt, the same odds of Royal Zara Tindall ending up in the Strictly ballroom.
