Strictly Come Dancing has denied reports of a clash between Faye Tozer and her professional dancing partner Giovanni Pernice.

The Sun previously reported that the pair had been clashing, with the pressure of the competition allegedly taking its toll on them in the final days of the show.

The tabloid quoted a Strictly insider as saying: “Faye and Giovanni have been struggling with the pressure and have both been ranting behind each other’s back.

“Giovanni is fiercely competitive and wants to win, but he knows they don’t have a hope in hell, as Stacey [Dooley] and Joe [Sugg] are both so popular with fans.

“Faye is sensitive, and after weeks of relentless training, she is feeling quite emotional. They’re hoping they can put on a brave face for the final, but behind the scenes it’s incredibly volatile.”

The singer had dance experience performing with Steps.

However, the show has hit back at the report, describing it as “total nonsense” to Ok! Magazine.

Meanwhile, Ashley Roberts has admitted that she is hurt by being placed in the bottom two for a third consecutive week.

Despite earning a perfect score in the semi-finals, The Pussycat Doll has said she didn’t expect to find herself in yet another dance-off.

This comes in light of claims that those with previous dancing experience – such as Roberts and Faye Tozer – have an ‘unfair advantage’ on the show.

Coincidentally, Roberts has been revealed as Strictly’s most disliked contestant, even more so than Seann Walsh, who was caught cheating on his now ex-girlfriend with professional dancing partner Katya Jones.

Roberts has consistently earned excellent scores but has received major backlash from the public for having years of professional dancing experience.
