'Strictly' partners John Whaite and Johannes Radebe go on 'Celebrity Gogglebox'

Strictly stars John Whaite and Johannes Radebe are reuniting for Celebrity Gogglebox.

The pair - who made history as the first all-male couple on the BBC ballroom show - are taking part in the Channel 4 programme's Pride special.

Former Bake Off star Whaite announced the news by sharing a snap on Instagram of them on the sofa together, teasing: "So we did a little thing. Catch @johannesradebe and me on this Friday’s Pride Special."

Dancer Radebe shared a clip of the pair clinking glasses, posting: "Cheers to the queer kids!"

He told Hello! the pair were really excited about becoming armchair critics.

"It's going to be fun watching TV together," he said. "Last time we were on Gogglebox, we were being watched by the nation as pirates!”

Fans said they were thrilled that the popular pair would be on the show.

"Love this so much!!!!" one posted in the comments section on Instagram.

Another wrote: "This is amazing news, I literally can not wait, thank you both."

"Can't wait to see this!" said another excited viewer.

One wrote: "Looking forward to hearing you laugh together and spill your popcorn."

Someone else said: "Yaaaaaaaas! The iconic duo are back baby!"

Others suggested that Whaite and Radebe could get a regular slot on the show - even though their appearance hasn't aired yet.

The pair appeared on last year's series of Strictly and were runners up, with Rose Ayling-Ellis and her pro partner Giovanni Pernice lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy.

They will be on Gogglebox tonight (1 July).
