James Jordan has thanked fans after "thousands" offered him a place to stay when he said he was "homeless".

The former Strictly Come Dancing pro had told his followers on Instagram that he and his family didn't have anywhere to live after their rental property fell through.

The 44-year-old and wife Ola Jordan are selling the home they share with two-year-old daughter Ella, and were looking to rent while they found somewhere new to live.

However, James has now posted an update saying that hordes of people had come forwards to try and help and that they were now sorted.

"Hi guys, I hope you are well," he said in the video.

"I haven't been on here for a little while. As many of you are aware, we are currently trying to move home.

"We didn't have anywhere to go because the rental property we were going to move into didn't work out for several reasons. We have now finally found somewhere else."

The star went on: "But I wanted to come on here just to say thank you so much.

"I must have had thousands upon thousands of messages of amazing people out there offering their help, offering for us to come and live with them from Ireland, Scotland everywhere, which is really, really nice.

"And I just wanted to come on here to say thank you very much."

James also joked that some people had said they were happy to take Ola, 40, but didn’t have room for him and their daughter.
