Sue Radford opens up on struggles with 22 kids as she enjoys 18th family holiday in 20 months

Even though being a star of a popular TV show comes with its benefits, being mother to 22 children cannot be easy.

And despite enjoying her 18th holiday in the last 20 months, Channel 5's 22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford has been keeping it real. Speaking to her followers, the 49-year-old shared the ups and downs of parenting during a half-term getaway with her massive clan.

Spoiler alert, it's not particularly easy.

Despite this, the frequency of the Radford clan's getaways sparked a bit of a stir among her fans over her frequent travels. She's been posting updates on Instagram, showing off snaps of the UK's largest family hopping onto the Eurostar for a French adventure.

But it's not all Mickey Mouse and magic this time around as Sue revealed they're skipping Disneyland Paris, instead sharing a pic of a motorway and updating that they still had "two hours to go" after already being on the road for ages.

Once settled at their sunny campsite destination, the reality celeb shared a cute photo of her brood enjoying breakfast outdoors. Recently, Sue, who's gearing up to be a grandma again when her daughter Katie, 21, gives birth, clapped back at a critic who accused her of splurging taxpayers' dough on her family trips.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a screenshot of an angry exchange after posting photos of her family holidaying in their £40,000 motorhome. The message from a man named Adam read: "You are disease...[It's] paid for by the tax payer" in response to a snap of the Radfords enjoying a barbecue on holiday in their luxury vehicle.

In her reply, she wrote: "I wonder if Adam is a high-rate taxpayer or if Adam pays tax at all? Maybe he's a bit p****d he doesn't own a motorhome. I would be too as we b****y love it paid for with our hard-earned high rate taxpayers money," followed by a head in hands emoji.

The mum-of-22 then took to her Instagram Stories and wrote: "Sorry, I'd never share anything like this, BUT we get lots of these so just want to clarify, Adam is a D**K." She later added: "Sorry, I've stewed on this since yesterday and it's wound me up more than it should. Sick of messages like this s**t. You need to educate yourself before messaging this s**t as I won't tolerate it anymore."

Teasing about future holidays, she wrote: "Off to bed now as we've got lots more holidays coming up, which I'm sure Adam won't approve of," followed by a crying with laughter emoji. She concluded: "All paid for by our money. Make sure to check in Adam, which I'm sure you will! ".

Britain's largest family is about to grow even more as Sue Radford's daughter, Katie, has announced her pregnancy. The ever-expanding clan is buzzing with excitement as Katie and her boyfriend Connor took to Instagram to share the delightful news.

The couple hosted a gender reveal party where they played football, culminating in Katie setting off a cannon that revealed they are expecting a boy. The Instagram video, which was a hit among her followers, was captioned by the excited future mum: "Baby Carter mummy and daddy can't wait to meet you!"
