A Suffolk-based performing artist is helping young people build their confidence with her new venture.

Evie Capon, 21, hopes her initiative will promote personal growth, enhance self-esteem and help young people acquire life skills through the performing arts.

She said: "I cannot wait to open the doors of Little Voices Suffolk to help children and young people along their own journey to confidence and self-belief."

Ms Capon's own growth journey has seen her overcome shyness, self-doubt and fear by embracing her abilities and pursuing her dreams.

Her Little Voices Suffolk endeavour is designed for individuals aged 4-18, of all abilities, interests and experiences, and is particularly close to her heart.

Her interaction with vulnerable young people has underscored the importance and power of music and the performing arts for self-expression.

The initiative will kick off during the summer holidays with workshops and theatre week.

These events will provide an overview of Little Voices Suffolk and highlight how participating young people can gain skills and evolve in a secure, supportive setting.
