Suspect Arrested at Tulsa Gas Station After Stealing Car With Two Children Inside

Tulsa Police Department released bodycam and dashcam footage from January 11, that shows the arrest of a kidnapping suspect at a local gas station.

The footage was shared to the department’s Facebook account on February 18, and shows the arrest of Jarrod Gilliam, who allegedly stole a car while two children were sitting in the back seat.

Two officers follow Gilliam to Lucky Sam’s, a gas station on North Lewis Avenue in Tulsa, where they force him out of the car and handcuff him.

According to local media, the mother of the children, aged four and five, was in a store when Gilliam took off in her blue Chevrolet Malibu. The children were unharmed in the incident.
