Suspected drunk driver arrested after car lands upside down in a tree
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after her car ended up upside down in a tree after a crash.
The crash happened on the B4386 road in Cruckton, Shrewsbury, on Sunday morning.
A photo of the scene posted on social media by police shows the vehicle bonnet down in the ground next to a large tree.

The car had crashed into a telegraph pole before ending up in the tree.
West Mercia Police said a woman failed a roadside breath test and was arrested after the crash.

It is believed she and a passenger only suffered minor injuries.
Chief Supt Kevin Purchell said the driver was “lucky to be alive”.
He tweeted: “Drink & Drive – don’t heed the warnings?
“A single vehicle RTC In Shropshire in early hrs, driver arrested positive roadside breath sample… lucky to be alive.”
