Allen, 34, was out of contract in SA1 but has now given the green light for another 12 months with his boyhood club,

Head coach Luke Williams had spoken before the campaign came to an end about how much he liked working with the former Wales midfielder.

“I love talking about Joe," Williams said about Allen during the closing stages of the season.

“I am very lucky I get the chance to work with him.”
