Yahoo News Teenagers deny harassing female couple after they refused to perform sex act on bus
A group of schoolboys have denied harassing a lesbian couple after they refused to perform a sex act on a London bus.
The four boys allegedly harassed Melania Geymonat and Christine Hannigan while they were on a night bus on 30 May.
Two 17-year-olds, a 16-year-old and another boy, 15, appeared at Highbury Corner Youth Court in London on Wednesday to enter not guilty pleas to a charge of causing harassment by using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
The court heard that the boys moved from the back of the bus to surround the women and began making sexual gestures.
The boys are said to have demanded they kiss and perform sexual acts. The alleged harassment occurred at around 2.15am.
Highbury Corner Youth Court heard that the boys threw coins at the women after the pair refused to kiss.
Both women were taken to hospital with facial injuries after the incident.

As well as denying the harassment charge, the 16-year-old boy admitted stealing Ms Geymonat’s handbag but denied handling her stolen Google Pixel mobile phone.
The 15-year-old denied handling Ms Geymonat’s stolen bank card.

One of the 17-year-olds also denied possession of cannabis.
The four teenagers will appear again at Highbury Corner Youth Court for a two-day trial starting on November 28.
