Paul Sinha has assured fans he is "not vanishing" and that he is continuing to fight his battle with Parkinson's.

The Chase star, 52, announced in 2019 that he had been diagnosed with the disease at the age of 49.

According to The Mirror, he opened up ahead of an appearance on ITV’s Loose Men, saying he wanted to “show that it doesn’t have to ruin your quality of life, and that you can fight against the stereotypes others have of you”.

“I want people to know that I am not vanishing, I’m still fighting as hard as ever.”

Sinha, who is known as the Sinnerman on the game show, has previously said there was a sense of relief when he was told he had Parkinson's.

In 2021 the star told 5 News that getting diagnosed took a while, partly as his first symptom was a stiff shoulder so people thought it could be an orthopaedic issue.
