If you didn't already love Chris Hemsworth for Thor, then prepare to fall head over heels.

His wife Elsa Pataky has shared an adorable photo of the Marvel star being chased around his house by his twin sons Tristan and Sasha, all dressed as superheroes.

Shock horror though, Hemsworth decided to cross the Marvel-DC divide to dress up in a Superman cape, topless of course, as his sons kept to Marvel as Spider-Man and Captain America.

But don't worry, Thor is there in spirit as Mjölnir is chilling on the table on the left-hand side of the photo.

He's basically a perfect father.

Hemsworth returns to the MCU after sitting out Captain America: Civil War in Thor: Ragnarok, which lands in UK cinemas on October 27 and in the US on November 3.

Last month, it was confirmed that Thor and Hulk will actually do battle when they cross paths in Ragnarok.

"Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok - the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilisation - at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela," a new synopsis reads.

"But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avengers - the Incredible Hulk!"

Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi had previously teased that the third Thor solo outing will evoke the classic Marvel Comics storyline Planet Hulk by visiting the planet Sakaar.

Before that though, the adventures of Thor and his Australian flatmate Darryl Jacobson (Daley Pearson) are apparently going to continue on the home entertainment release of Doctor Strange.

We're still hoping Darryl finds his way into Avengers: Infinity War.
