What a season Aston Villa have had. It is hard to believe that relatively recently supporters were more concerned about a return to the Championship than the prospect of playing Champions League football - but then came Unai Emery.

But with Champions League football come other challenges, and the Villa boss and his key lieutenants face a busy summer as they remould the squad that took them to fourth place this past season while mindful of the stringent player spending rules already haunting plenty of top-flight clubs keen to play with the big boys.
