Luke Littler is back in action this evening as he faces a rematch with world champion Luke Humphries on opening night of the Premier League Darts.

The teenage sensation made headlines across the globe during January after reaching the World Championship final before his 17th birthday, where he lost to Humphries.

Since then, Littler has won his first World Series title by capturing the Bahrain Masters crown, hitting a remarkable nine-darter along the way, and then lost the Dutch Masters final to three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen.

The eight best darts players in the world tonight kick off the Premier League Darts in Cardiff, the first of 16 dates that stretch across the UK, Ireland, Berlin and Rotterdam until May.

Humphries and Van Gerwen were joined by Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall as automatic qualifiers, with Littler one of four wildcards along with Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Rob Cross.

What time is Luke Littler playing tonight?

Litter's rematch with Humphries is scheduled for the final match of the evening at Cardiff's Utilita Arena on Thursday.

With the first of four matches expected to begin around 7:30pm GMT, it is likely that Litter will reach the oche after 9:30pm.
