Tom Parker's daughter still asks where he is, with his wife having to 're-live' the painful conversations where she has to say he's not coming back.
The Wanted singer died in March after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in October 2020. He was just 33.
His wife, actor Kelsey Parker, spoke to Kate Thornton on White Wine Question Time and said the children, aged three and one, give her the strength to 'get on and get through it'.
The 32-year-old actor said: "We speak about him every day. I've got pictures of him everywhere. I'm reminded of him every day, so why wouldn't I want to talk about him?"

Thornton had said she realised it was a difficult time and felt 'awful' asking about her husband, but Parker explained there were plenty of everyday situations where she would think about him.
Her laptop was not working on the day they spoke, and it would have been Tom who sorted that out, she explained.
She added: "I'll be doing something random like making a boiled egg and I'll like tear up and be like, why am I tearing up?
"Because he loved boiled eggs. It's just really small things that you don't think you'd get upset about.
"That's what this is. This was the breakfast he loved. That was his favourite breakfast. It's just little things that get you going."
She went on to say: "I think the kids give me so much strength to get on and get get through it."
Parker said the children hear her talking about Tom all the time, with her one-year-old son Bodhi not really having a clue what has happened, but three-year-old Aurelia being 'more aware of the situation'.
"It's really confusing for her," Parker said. "And I completely get how confusing it is, because [her] dad is famous. It's just not normal life."
She said there have been times when, on going to do a TV appearance, she's wanted Aurelia to watch, so she knows she's just away doing a job.
But if pictures of Tom come up on the screen, her daughter would start to ask if her dad is coming back too.
Parker said: "She asked my mum: 'Is Daddy coming back then? Is mummy bringing daddy back?' And it's like, no, he's not coming back.
"Then we have to re-live the 'he's dead, he's not coming back' [conversation], which, obviously, I got advice for that.
"And that's what the advice was, you've just got to be as honest as possible.
"She must miss him. Because they would get in bed together [at] bedtime. She must be so confused, he was here a minute ago, and now he is gone."

Parker also spoke about her tireless research after Tom's diagnosis to find treatment for him, and to keep him healthy right up to his death.
But she says she has her ups and downs since he died.
"Every day is so different," she said. "I'm not saying I don't have my down days, and I don't cry. Of course I do, I'm human."
