Kelsey said: "I’ve been really honest but she does still talk about him every day and she doesn’t quite understand that he’s not coming back. I have to be really blunt to say, 'he’s not coming back, that’s it, he’s dead and he’s not coming back'."

She continued: "She doesn’t really understand. Obviously, where the book’s out and she’s seen him in store, she’s a bit like, 'well he’s been on tour so is he gonna come back from this?'"

Parker's widow added: "She does ask me every day about him and obviously we have little things around the house of Tom’s."

She also detailed how she tries to stay positive for the sake of their children who are both under two: "They wake up happy, they wake up in a good mood so then I can’t be sad. And he wouldn’t us to be sad and mourning. Don’t get me wrong, I get my bad days, of course, I do. At night it is lonely, I am lonely, but this is my life, I have to get on with it."

Parker was initially diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in October 2020 and was given just months to live.

He would later die on 30 March 2022 shortly after The Wanted had completed their reunion tour. Parker would take part in the tour, often performing from his wheelchair.

Following his death, the band released 'Gold Forever (For Tom)' in tribute with all proceeds to go to The Brain Tumour Charity.
