Rachel Mumford, KAYAK Travel Expert commented: For those looking for last-minute deals this summer, a great way stay on top of price changes is to use data-driven price forecast tools available on comparison sites like KAYAK such as ‘price alerts’ to get notified instantly when the price for a flight you want changes. And the more flexible you can be with your dates, the better. For instance, try to steer clear of mid-July if you can, that’s the peak travel season and, correspondingly, when we see flight prices trend to be the highest.
