It was a triumphant return to the Isle of Wight Festival for Nothing but Thieves, nine years after they opened the stage on a Sunday.

They said they were honoured to be now playing third on the bill, before Simple Minds and Green Day on Sunday.

They played a set list which included their hits Overcome and Amsterdam, and threw in a version of Where is My Mind by The Pixies.

Hailing from Southend-on-Sea in Essex, Nothing But Thieves make guitar-based rock.

They formed in 2012, and feature singer Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, guitarist Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake, and drummer James Price.
